I want to learn about you, but here's some about me:

I am quite unconventional in my thinking, but lead a relatively conservative life.  You may consider my mind my best attribute... if you are a thinker too.

I am certainly eclectic: deeply science oriented, work in a lab, and have a web site mostly devoted to the world changing field of Molecular Nanotechnology.  But, I need the natural beauty of Maine's outdoors to recharge my emotional batteries.  I feel I belong in the future (much closer than you might realize), but really enjoy driving my 4x4 Toyota to a remote camp site.

Like a typical male, I love Sci-Fi and action films, but I am bored to tears by most organized sports.

My father is a minister, so I have deeply held moral beliefs, but I am not religious.  I am polite, respectful, and well mannered.

I am passionate about what I like and believe, but am very reasoned and rational.

I am very affectionate, both emotionally and physically.  I have always had 'skin hunger', and need lots of touching.  I have lots of unused love to give!

I love honest and open communication, and need to share my thoughts.  This is very important to me.  Always something to talk about!

I am very frugal, but will stretch finances to get what I want.  I wait for what I want, then get the good stuff!  I usually have a plan, and stick to it.

I am average looking, a little heavier than I want to be, and have male pattern baldness.  But, I'm healthy, and will be camping and hiking more this year.  Want to snuggle up and let the crickets sing us to sleep?

Since before I was in 3rd grade, I have felt the presence of a female essence that I grew to realize must be my future life mate.... you.  My life and relationships have sidetracked me from my search for you... but now I've returned to that search.  I know you have felt the same thing... and does this feeling move you to bitter-sweet tears as it does me?

Tastes in music:  Absolutely love Electronica. I'm not usually a big music fan, but Psychedelic Trance is a music genre that really does enhance my neural perturbations... it stimulates my creativity! Not just a mood enhancer, this music affects how my mind works! I have started to listen to this regularly. Favorite RealPlayer station: Philosomatika.

What are my greatest sources of enjoyment:   Learning about our reality... using the window of science to attempt to comprehend humanity and the universe. I also get great pleasure from sharing the learning experience with others. Want to chat?

What characteristics do I consider important in a prospective mate?

Comments re long-distance contacts and/or relocation:   I like Maine, but could entertain moving. Relationships outside of a few hours drive will be difficult, but may be necessary to find the right person.

Additional comments:   I am firmly right wing, as I understand and value the foundations of our Constitutional Republic, if not it's religious underpinnings.  The leftist goal of a socialist government would be doomed to fail, and I have written a good scientific reason why on my site (nano-nova.com).

My support for the Second Amendment (and interest in firearms), will most likely make me unacceptable by a majority of otherwise very interesting leftist (liberal) women.

It's sadly ironic that so many intelligent people see the world so differently! Reality truly is a personal construct. I'm always ready to talk about divergent realities... let's give it a try!

My immediate plans are to find a job more commensurate with my laboratory experience and science background. My ultimate goal is to make it to the Singularity!  Join me?
