Establishes New Business in Plymouth
Eugene S. Beagles makes this city headquarters for Memorial Album Company.
Eugene S. Beagles, a Plymouth boy who has made a great record in the world of salesmanship, has come back home and founded a concern of his
own. It is the Memorial Album Company, a service for Funeral Directors.
Mr. Beagles has his office at 511 North Michigan Street. The Memorial Album Company is the result of much thought and the experience of a
year and a half in this particular line of endeavor.
The Memorial Album is the most beautiful record book available in America for funeral directors. Its purpose is to make a lasting record
for the families and relatives of loved ones who have gone.
The cover of the Memorial Album is an exact replica of Italian hand tooled leather, and this part of the album is made in Chicago. The
entire inside setup is in keeping with the cover and is being printed in The Pilot Company shop.
"I am convinced that a business such as this can be handled satisfactorily out of Plymouth," said Mr. Beagles today, "inasmuch as there
are 21 mail services each day coming in, and the overhead is far less than in Chicago or New York.
It is Mr. Beagles' purpose to develop his business on a national scale as rapidly as possible. Representatives are now covering Illinois,
Indiana, Michigan and Missouri. New states will be opened as fast as high class salesmen can be secured.
Mr. Beagles is traveling most of the time himself, but will be in Plymouth week ends and can be reached by anyone at telephone 301. One of
the first things he did after getting located in Plymouth was to take out a membership in the Chamber of Commerce. * * * *
