At 30 years of age Hugh became the father of Mary MONTGOMERY 1735. At 32 years of age Hugh became the father of Martha MONTGOMERY 1737. At 34 years of age Hugh became the father of Jane MONTGOMERY 1739. At 36 years of age Hugh became the father of John MONTGOMERY 1741. At 37 years of age Hugh became the father of MONTGOMERY 1742?. At 40 years of age Hugh became the father of Thomas Sr. MONTGOMERY in Roanoke Co., Roanoke, Virginia, 1745. Hugh served in the military in U.S. Revolution (private), ? 1776. Hugh Montgomery, Sr., was a private in the American Revolution. He had seven sons in the revolution, all returned home safely.
