Hello Everyone,
Just a quick update on Easton. Today was a great day.
Easton was able to get out of the 'tanning bed', his jaundice level has
dropped and the Doctor ordered him out from underneath the photo therapy
light. His bottle was increased to 30cc, or 1 ounce. He ate well using
his bottle all day long. I just called the NICU tonight to check in with
his nurse and she said he weighed in at 4 lbs and 8 ozs. So, he is up
one-half ounce! Also, he was disconnected from his IV fluids and the
Doctor mentioned that he might remove the IV site tomorrow. The Echo
Cardiogram report was not received by the Doctor. He told us that he
believes everything was normal, or else he would have been contacted by
now.
Thanks for everyone's support. I am going to go to
work tomorrow and through the weekend, unless something changes. Dee will
be going over to be with Easton tomorrow. We will give another update
tomorrow evening.
