June 14 (Saturday), arrive Cotton Hill about 11 am. Plans are to spend four nights here.
There's the Eagle (above photo), with Sandy Creek in the background. Here we met Ty and Kim and Kim's
Mom (Sherry) and Dad (Randy). NOTICE: They are parked behind us, on waterfront sites.
They arrived before we did.
Ty and Kim's 5th wheel on the left with Randy and Sherry's motor home to the right.
That's Randy (above). Hard working gent, always got a project going when he's not fishing.
He brought his bass boat along.

Priscilla and Sherry cooking.
We met these two guys the night before leaving Cotton Hill. That's Wyatt on the left and Sean on the
right. They came in on kayaks one afternoon and pitched a tent on the site adjacent to us. We
struck up a conversation with them and learned they were kayaking from the Atlanta area, down
the Chattahoochee and Apalachicola Rivers. Their destination, Cape San Blas in Florida. A 400
plus mile trip. Wyatt is a seventh grade teacher and Sean is retired. The two are also climbing
enthusiast. Before he goes back to work, Wyatt plans to climb Mt. Rainier. Google "sean and
wyatt paddle" for their web site.
Sean & Wyatt Update: Sean and Wyatt completed their trip to the mouth of the Apalachicola
River, into the Gulf of Mexico and on to Cape San Blas. Both are back in the Atlanta area and doing
well. Click here for a story that appeared The Star about the two adventurers.
