We almost took the name, "That 70s Band", before choosing the name, Roadfever... |
It took almost a year for all of us to come together as a band with the very first song being, "Free Bird". Only two of us were together at the time (Neil & Tony). Nick joined 5 months later during our experimental period with obscure songs such as Pink Floyds, "Dogs", and Foghats, "Road Fever". Tim, Mari, and Anthony joined soon after to morph a sound and to mold a band with no name. We were calling ourselves "That 70s Band" along with other names on a long list. During a practice night just two days before our first gig the name Roadfever was suggested by Jumpin' Johnny. We had just finished the titled song in Johnny's barn. It's a name that reflects our formation as well as the direction we take. A journey of pure quality, classic rock. |
