Of all the wonderful cavaliers that have filled my heart and my home, I'd like to introduce you to my foundation dogs. They are the ones responsible for this obsession I love so much!
Penny (pictured above), also known as Canadian Champion Rediviva's Teacher's Pet, was bred by Sheila Kish of Rediviva Cavaliers in Kelowna, B.C. Penny is a real character, and quite opinionated about everything. She's a sweet cooperative lady, though, and moves with sound cavalier elegance. She won her Championship easily in her home country of Canada with a third place in the toy group. She also won reserve winners bitch at the British Columbia Cavalier specialty show. *****
Manny, also known as Canadian Champion Rediviva's Harvest Moon, like Penny, was bred by Sheila Kish of Rediviva Cavaliers. Manny is an extremely bright fellow, and all boy! He has a high opinion of himself, and if given his way would spend every day digging holes, hunting moles and quail, and meeting lady cavaliers. Winning his Championship was a whirlwind, with a Championship in five shows with second place and third place in the toy group on the way--and he had to beat champion competition to get there! *****
Autumn, also known as Truwain Autumn Snow, never grew long enough hair to be a show girl. She's got a beautiful face, elegant neck and shoulders, and perfect markings, with beautiful deep chestnut color. So, she can be forgiven for her hair style! Autumn is a wonderful mom, and takes marvelous care of her babies. She's also a sporty, athletic girl who likes to explore and hunt. She takes after her grandfather who once caught a pheasant all by himself! She is the mother of Canadian Champion Truwain Resolute who won his Championship as a puppy in five shows, with two Best Puppy in Toy Group awards, and a Third Place in the adult Toy Group against the grown ups! *****
I ought to say something about Autumn's mom, Poppins, also known as Fleetstreet Mary Poppins, bred by Carol Williams of Fleetstreet cavaliers. Poppins was my late father's beloved pet. She was a devoted companion to my disabled father, and spent her days on his bed. Poppins went to a few dog shows and did very well, but my parents preferred to have her home, so her show career was limited. Please feel free to email me.
