This website is dedicated to Tawny, also known as Champion Silverleaf Romp'n Tawny CDX HIC. Tawny was my 4-H project, best friend, and great teacher. Pictured above is my first time in the show ring in April of 1979. Tawny won two four-point majors that weekend, and started me on a path that, that in spite of looking back, has just kept going forward. Tawny was my first Champion, and had group placements in both the Working and Herding group. The AKC split the Working group into Working and Herding while Tawny was being shown.
Thank you ol' boy. You taught me so much! I would also like to say thank you to my dear friend, Robin Lee Hood. Her accomplishments have been an inspiration. She is the breeder of my Denali, Champion Colquhoun Denali at Truwain HCT, sired by her National Specialty winning BISS American/Canadian/International Champion Hermosa Mtn Colquhoun McDuff HIC ROM ROMO ROMIX ROMAX.
