Out of *UB Raggae Babe, by *Tall Trees Misty's Beau
Watch her video:
*Love is a fabulous young filly. She really shows what her sire does for size of horse. We are amazed by how much she has grown! *Love also demonstrates the behavioral characteristics of both her sire and her dam...steadfast, non-spooky, curious. What more could you ask for in a young horse?
In late June 2009 we were invited to bring a couple of Curlies to an open house at the Tractor Supply in Montpelier, Vermont. We decided to bring *Babe and *Love, as it would be a good first outing for a young filly. Guin and Chellis began working with her, taking her on walks with and without *Babe. And then working on trailer loading. The day dawned nicely and off we went. They were a hit, needless to say! Here is a picture of our set-up there:

There were other breeds there, but we were the only one with a display. And, of course, with a baby we were an immediate attraction. *Love was amazed at the amount of attention she got, and she thoroughly enjoyed all the petting. *Babe was, as we expected, completely calm about strangers coming to see her baby.
*Love has continued to grow up beautiful especially living with all the "nannies" as we have all our mares living in a large paddock this winter. Now that she is 13 months old, it looks as if she is a bay; however, we still have plans to have her color dna charted. From the pictures I recently took it looks as if she is developing black on her lower legs, but with her winter coat curls it is still hard to tell. We look forward to her completing her shedding.
Here are 3 pictures from early March 2010: face, left side, and a nice trot picture. This, by the way, was the first time *Love had ever been asked to trot in hand. As we thought, she performed superbly!

*Love is for sale; $5000
