Do you need help with mare / foal management?
At Zephyr Farm, we know that small scale sport horse breeders often need a hand managing brood mares and their foals. Been there, done that! Sometimes the need is to maintain the pregnant mare away from a busy training barn and supervise her care through the foaling event. Other breeders will need a safe environment in which the foals can grow from weanlings to young adults with plenty of exercise and socialization.
If you need assistance in managing a brood mare or need a safe place for a foal to mature, we invite you to contact us at Zephyr Farm. We have over 20 years of experience managing mares and foals. Your animals can be integrated with our band to give them the socialization that produces confident adult horses. Foals receive daily hand feeding to assure that they consume all of the nutrients and supplements they need for optimal development. Vaccination schedules are regularly monitored. Veterinary services are available on-call.
