F2 Savannah Kitten

Female (Mya)

Mya enjoys performing her "Halloween cat" posturing and loves randomly jumping straight up (what we call "popcorning") repeatedly, just because she can. She runs around the room, pouncing on every toy she passes, but when she starts to get tired she finds one of our laps to curl up in for a quick nap.

F2 Savannah Kitten

Male (Magnum)

This boy is very focused on food and despite being smaller than his sister (so far) he will not relinquish "his" nipple to her when she demands it. He eats, alot, and immediately falls back to sleep (our largest F2's produced started out eating this way). His personality has not had a chance to show until just now. He also enjoys having his chin scratched and has just started purring during his after-meal cuddling before falling back to sleep.

F2 Savannah Kitten

Female (Lady Sif)

This golden girl has the highest birth weight of any of Rosie's previous kittens and so far (8 weeks) is maintaining her size lead. She charges full speed ahead into any endeavor, not worrying about where she is going until she gets there. She has a strong personality with a strong focus and determination tempered by a very sweet temperament. She loves to give us quick little kisses during playtime and cuddle into one of our laps at naptime.

Female (Omumbo-Rombonga - Romi)

This golden girl is still the largest of the litter and is holding that position. She eats so fast we can hardly believe she got any milk at all, then is off to explore. Once she has made the circuit she crawls to us, rolls onto her back and waves her legs in the air with mouth open - an invitation to play. She is the biggest cuddlier of the litter.

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

Female (Ginger)

This golden girl has really taken off in the past week in size and looks. Her face is already starting to look like a Savannah and her coloring is beautiful. She eats like a horse then demands our attention before heading off to explore or pounce on her siblings. She is a big cuddlier, climber and is super sweet.

Male (Angus)

This light golden boy is focused on food and would keep going until he popped if we let him. After eating he loves to crawl onto his big sister and knaw on her leg or face while she does the same to him until they both fall asleep. He is the smallest of the litter but starting to catch up to his sister.

Pictures taken at seven weeks.

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

Male (Kelsier)

This dark boy is just starting to develop some warm tones. We do not expect him to remain cool toned much longer as Rosie's babies almost always develop a golden base coat color. He loves to explore even more than the girls do but will cuddle in for a snuggle once his explorations are interrupted.

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

Peaty

The largest in the litter by a good margin. He is a high energy boy, taking only enough time from running and playing to come give us a quick cuddle and at nap time falling asleep on one of our laps.

10 pounds at 4-1/2 months.

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

Caius

The darkest kitten of the litter, was born with almost no warm tones and big dramatic black spots. He is developing more and more warm tones as he grows, but has kept his dramatic contrast. Caius is very determined and focused about getting what and where he wants. He is the explorer/climber of the litter, and loves to sneak attack his brothers. His favorite napping place is cuddled into the crook of one of our arms.

Caius's new parent is our first repeat customer!

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

Chief

Is right in the middle color-wise. He has dramatic markings with a warm basecoat. He is the cuddler of the litter and loves to snuggle after meals before running off to chaise his brothers. He is the organizer of the group, keeping playtime going and ensuring that both of his brothers are engaged in the activities.

#1 Female (Freya) - Great spots, nice thumbprints (ear markings) and a wide nose. She is the cuddler of the two. After drinking her milk she snuggles into our hands and nibbles on our fingers.

#2 Male (Hakuna) - Great spots, coat color and well defined thumbprints . He is the leader of the two in adventure. High energy and demanding. After drinking his milk he nibbles on our fingers then is off to explore.

F2 Savannah Kitten - 1

#1 Male (Jumanji) - He is the most golden and also the smallest at this time because he was a bit premature. He is closing the gap though. At this point, he is mostly sleeping and eating as all his energy is going into catching up to his brothers and sister, then he will work on growing some hair! His spots are not black but do have a nice contrast to his base coat. He has nice ear size and great ocelli, large feet and is the loudest of the litter. Pictures taken at four weeks.

#2 Female (Jada) - She was born the largest of the litter and has held that position. She is also the darkest with big black spots, good ear ocelli and a thick tail. She is starting to explore the nesting box and is the first to start to play. She loves to cuddle. Pictures taken at four weeks.

#3 Male (Loki) - He has a nice warm coloring, not as golden as kitten #1, but he has an almost ivory colored base coat with large dark spots and a haze of golden coloring throughout. He has the shortest tail, but not as thick as #2's. He was the first to start drinking from the bottle and the first to curl up on our chest and purr. Pictures taken at four weeks.

F2 Savannah Kitten - Liam

#4 Male (Liam) - He is a dark cool-toned kitten with nice golden highlights throughout his coat. It is hard to tell at this age which direction he will go (warm or cool colored) as he matures. His ear ocelli are the most pronounced so far, his nose is dark, but not black, and he has a short, thick tail. He loves to eat quickly and fall back asleep - at which point, he gets quite disgruntled to be woken up again. He has the most unique sounding, tiny little voice. Pictures taken at four weeks.

F2 Savannah Kitten - Machka

#1 Female (Machka) - Will be moving to Bellingham, Washington after Thanksgiving. She is now giving her sister a run for the title of "most active." Machka is the climber and explorer of the group. She has a beautiful golden coat with dark spots and great thumbprints and tear tracks. When she is finished eating and playing she purrs and looks for a lap to cuddle in to, but trying to cuddle with her before she is done playing makes her adorably annoyed. Pictures taken at five weeks.

#2 Female (Tianna) - is the little go-getter. She is the most active of the bunch and loves to chase her ball, pounce on her brother, climb and high-dive off the couches and cat tower. She is a talker and purrs the moment you touch her. When finished playing she demands to be picked up and held, then rolls onto her back to snuggle in. She is extremely affectionate and has started giving us and her brother head butts (serval trait). She has golden highlights on a cool toned coat with large dark spots, great tear tracks and good thumbprints.

At nine weeks she weighs 2.5 pounds.

#3 Male (Ami) - "WOW!" is the first word out of our family and friends when they see this kitten. At nine weeks he weighs in at four pounds. It looks like he’s going to be the "big one." His coat is thick, unusually soft and incredibly clear with dramatic black spots standing out against a light background that is turning more golden each day. He has a triangular face with almost no nose break, a wide, well rounded nose, pronounced tear tracks and a short, thick tail. Photos don’t do him justice.

This kitten is a strong boy and clear about what he wants and when he wants it, but loves to purr quietly and snuggle in after eating and playing. He loves to engage new adventures and chase/wrestle his sister. As the "intellectual" of the litter he enjoys watching her and learning. This boy is a "knock-out" in looks and personality.

F2 Savannah Kitten - Ruwa

Kitten # 1: Male (Ruwa), born six days premature and a third of the size of his sisters. He has light background coloring that allow his spots to stand out dramatically. He likes to sit, watch and learn what his sisters do, and then expand on what he has learned. He loves to cuddle and purrs at the drop of a hat and loves to teach his sisters how to burrow behind all of the couch cushions.

F2 Savannah Kitten - Aila
F2 Savannah Kitten - Aila

Kitten #2: Female (Aila) with golden background coloring and small brown spots. This girl is our little "go with the flow" baby. She is good at entertaining herself but thrilled to snuggle every chance she gets and is the most affectionate of the three. She will be staying here at Northwest Savannahs to produce beautiful little F1 Savannah kittens next year.

F2 Savannah Kitten - Cloud
F2 Savannah Kitten - Cloud

Kitten #3: Female (Cloud) is the largest of the litter and would have been our first pick to keep if she was not a little clone of her mother (we opted for a variety of looks in our queens). She has the most dramatic markings and coloring - big black spots on a golden-red base coat. She has the longest and thickest coat, has huge feet, the tallest ears and the broadest, longest nose of the three. She was the first to play, the first to explore, to hiss and to purr. She is also clear what she wants and when and how she wants it! Pictures taken at eight weeks.
