Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) is networking
for the transportation world. The internet-like concept of automated
routing of individual packets of cargo seems obvious in retrospect. But,
if you compare this to what we have now... it's orders of magnitude
better. This will be a ancestor to the nanotechnology built, world-wide,
hyper-speed tube transportation system in this story.
